Mark Hatter Associates offers a range of community based assessments, parenting programmes and other services focused towards families where child protection concerns exist and where Care Proceedings have commenced or are being considered.
We also offer a child focused assessment service within Private Law Proceedings relating to Residence and Contact Issues where the issues are either complex or highly conflictual.
Established by Mark Hatter, a qualified a social worker with 25 years of experience, Mark Hatter Associates provides a professional service to solicitors, local authorities and independent organisations within the public and private sector, throughout the UK.
Whilst our administration centre is located in Peacehaven, East Sussex we have a network of associates throughout the UK with each area managed by a Senior Associate, who ensures that our assessments meet consistently high standards and within agreed timescales.
Where Local Authorities are experiencing high workload demands set against recruitment difficulties we are able to offer teams of Social Workers who can complete Initial and Core Assessments within agreed timescales. This service is available throughout the UK and is a cost effective alternative to recruiting temporary agency staff.
In addition through our sister company we can provide training throughout the UK to Local Authorities and their partners, specialising in areas such as, multi agency child protection, domestic violence, substance misuse, psychiatry and psychology.
