About Us

Mark Hatter Associates Limited has been established since 2011, with its Director, Mark Hatter, having initially published a book, The Tales of Bushey Lane and Activity Packs, which was specifically written and illustrated to assist those who work with children and their families, to effectively communicate with children in order to gain a full understanding of their life experiences and to assess the level and quality of the parenting they are receiving. He and his training associates now regularly train social workers, family workers, teachers and early year’s practitioners on the use of the book and activity packs throughout the country.

From its initial business focus the company now provides Health, Social Care and Education professionals working with children and their families an online resource, training and social media platform and an Independent Social Work and Family Support Service.

Social media

Here at Mark Hatter Associates we recognise the importance of social care professionals having the opportunity to share their expertise and knowledge with others. We encourage active participation, debate and the opportunity for them to have a voice. We regularly feature articles written by social care professionals and have an increasingly popular twitter feed and blog. We have also launched the Social Worker ASYE support group through Facebook. The group serves to support newly qualified child and family social workers who are in their first year of employment. Members can share their experiences, seek advice and guidance from their peers, contribute to group discussions and be kept informed of current training opportunities. We welcome experienced social workers and managers to join the group who are willing to support their newly qualified colleagues. You can view or join the group at: www.facebook.com/groups/swayse
